Bringing Cool Britannia to the heart of New York's buzzing Meatpacking District, Soho House New York, the Manhattan outpost of the London media club, is the epitome of urban sophistication. In fact, we found it impossible to leave, despite the unbelievable shopping on the streets below, and the temptation of a helicopter trip from the helipad five minutes away. Music started the moment we stepped through the door, activated by motion sensors, and there was a speaker hooked up to the surround sound so we could play our own music.
